The Cook School Garden

The Cook School, Bewdley overlooks a Site of Special Scientific Interest  (SSSI) featuring the stunning, wild natural beauty of the Wyre Forest.  The breath taking view from the Cook School across the valley provides a constantly changing picture of the landscape and the flora and fauna growing and living there.

The grounds encircling the Cook School have been lovingly tamed to become a vibrant and productive kitchen garden.  The produce from the garden provides a constant source of the freshest fruit, vegetables and herbs imaginable for the Cook School visitors to select.  You will be encouraged to choose and gather in the ingredients needed for the delicious recipes on the ever-changing Cook School menu with the emphasis on seasonality.

A wander through the garden whilst chatting to Daren and Louise about growing, the use of beds, baskets and top tips is highly recommended.  All who visit enjoy the joy of seasonality and some guests choose to tarry a while to take in the splendour whilst reflecting on their experience from a well placed sheltered seating area.
